Why would a ship be found underground? Join in this hands-on program to explore Alexandria's shoreline history. (Recommended for ages 8+)

Use dendrochronology, historic maps, and other scientific methods and models to uncover the mystery behind Alexandria’s 18th century ship discovered along the Old Town waterfront.

This SummerQuest event will be moved indoors in the case of inclement weather. Changes to this event will be made by 6pm the day before and details will be posted on this page. Please check back or call the Burke Branch for updates.
