FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between and "eAudiobook" and an "audiobook"?

The library's catalog identifies these formats in the title line and through icons. eAudiobooks are audio books that have been converted into digital form for download to a portable device. The audiobooks in the library's collection are usually on disk and are designed to be played on a compatible disk player. Most of the audiobooks on disk are in the .WMA format. The library also provides audiobooks on disk in the compressed .MP3 format.

Does the library support a particular eBook reader?

Most eBook readers and portable devices that support eBooks are compatible with the library's eBook providers.

I received an email about an eBook being checked out to me, but it's not in my loans section on Overdrive.

If you recently received a new library card number but your Overdrive account is connected to the old number, your account will need to be updated with Overdrive. Please contact the digital librarian with both account numbers to update this for you. Once your account is updated, your loans will appear.
