Join us outdoors at the Barrett Branch for a presentation by local Master Gardener Elaine Mills in honor of Earth Day! A handy checklist of sustainable garden practices will be provided.

As our changing climate brings more unpredictable weather patterns, gardeners play an increasingly important role in serving as stewards of the environment. Learn about five categories of practical actions homeowners can take in their own backyards to either mitigate or adapt to changes in our climate.  Join us outside of the Barrett Branch for this program from the Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia.  A rain date will be determined if necessary.  Registration suggested but not required.  You can find other virtual and outdoor programs from the Master Gardeners at MGNV.org

Parking: No library parking lot.  Street parking is available.  A paid parking lot is available on the 100 block of North Alfred Street.
